WHY DO BRIDESMAID DRESSES USUALLY TAKE 3-4 MONTHS ELSEWHERE?
Although to you, your dresses are the centerpiece of your wedding, to the people who make them, it’s a business. Once your order is placed by a store with a particular manufacturer it is put on a “cutting ticket”. Cutting tickets are then held as long as possible waiting for as many dresses of the same style to be ordered, reducing the manufacturing costs per dress as much as possible. Once finally cut and sewn they are shipped to the distributor usually from overseas on your proverbial slow boat from China. Here they are unpacked from the container, separated and shipped to the store or web site you bought them from.
HOW QUICKLY CAN GET MY DRESSES TO ME?
If we receive your order by 4 pm, we will place it with our vendor that same day. If you order from our “one to two week” category and everything is in stock, the order usually ships out to us within two business days. We receive it two to three days later, inspect them for perfection and accuracy and reship it immediately to you. We ship from the east coast, so depending on where you are you can expect it within a few days.. If you need them sooner you can pay to upgrade shipping so you can have them in a few days from when you placed you order if you like.
HOW IS IT THAT BRIDESMAIDEXPRESS.COM GETS THEM SOONER?
We have pre-selected the best styles and most popular colors from various designers and arranged for these designers to stock as many as they can. Once we place the order, they merely have to pull, package and ship them to us. Dresses that are not already stocked are rush cut for our orders. We have agreements in place that our dresses are prioritized, cut and sewn immediately and shipped to us right away. You will find more styles and color selections in these orders, however they do take a little longer.
CAN I RETURN OR CANCEL MY ORDER IF I CHANGE MY MIND?
Sorry, but there are absolutely no refunds or cancellations. Once your order is received by us, we immediately forward it to the manufacturer/designer. Once they receive it, they immediately pull the order or start production. These manufacturers are not equipped to handle returns or issue refunds. Additionally, since we sell so many dresses all over the country we can not possibly take returns and hold these dresses in inventory with the hopes that another customer will come along and want those exact same dresses in the same colors and sizes.
IS MY ORDER GUARANTEED TO ARRIVE ON TIME ONCE I PLACE IT?
Due to the tremendous popularity of our web site certain dresses in specific colors and/or sizes may be sold out at times. Therefore, your dresses can only be guaranteed once the order is accepted by the manufacturer. You will be notified via e-mail usually by or before the next business day.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT DRESSES NOT ORDERED UNDER THE “LESS THAN 14 DAY” CATEGORY ARE MADE OVERSEAS AND AS SUCH THE SHIPPING DATES GIVEN ARE APPROXIMATE ARRIVAL DATES FROM THE FACTORY. ALTHOUGH RARE, AS WITH ANYTHING YOU ORDER, THERE MAY BE UNCONTROLLABLE TRANSPORTATION DELAYS IN GETTING YOUR DRESSES TO YOU, SO WHEN PLACING ORDERS WITH US, PLEASE GIVE US THE ACTUAL WEDDING DATE. A SOONER DATE WILL NOT GET YOUR DRESSES HERE QUICKER, BUT MAY ACTUALLY DELAY THE ORDER BEING PLACED DUE TO OUR NEED TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU.
WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS IF I CANT GET THE DRESSES I ORDERED?
You have many options if the dress or dresses you ordered are not available, they are:
1. Of course you will be entitled to a full refund if so desired
2. We will notify you that if perhaps by changing a dress size we may be able to complete your order.
3. You may want to change to another style or color.
4. You may want to opt for a later date in which the dresses may be available.
